Google is preparing an updated design for Google Play
Google is working on the redesign of the Google Play app store, trying to make it more concise than before, GadgetHacks reporters learned. The updated catalog is still available only to a limited audience of users, but it is likely that a worldwide release will soon take place.
Trying to save Google Play from the dominance of visually superfluous elements, the company's developers have made a string with data on the number of downloads, reviews and user ratings of the less prominent . Now in its place are painted little-featured characters in black and white colors that are not as conspicuous as green.
In addition, from now on Google Play differently displays information about the application, depending on whether , whether it was installed earlier. So, for example, if the program is already on your device, you will be asked to evaluate it, delete it or contact the developers. Those who are unfamiliar with the program will be shown screenshots and, if possible, a video recording demonstrating the operation of the software.

It became known when Samsung smartphones will receive an analog Face ID
Samsung Electronics probably will not have time to realize its analog Face ID before the release of Galaxy Note 9 in the fall of 2018, so the first device of the manufacturer with a hardware recognition system will be the next-generation Galaxy S. The Bell newspaper writes with reference to informed sources.
According to the Bell sources, the Israeli start-up Mantis Vision together with the manufacturer of 3D cameras Namuga is developing the hardware-software face recognition system for the new Galaxy S. The success of Samsung's partners depends not only on its ability to compete with Apple, but also on the prestige of the company.
The flagship Samsung smartphones of the current generation are equipped with a hybrid identification system that combines the software face recognition technology with a hardware iris scanner. This tool, contrary to the expectations of consumers, does not provide the necessary level of security, removing the lock of the smartphone, even if the user's eyes are closed.
