It's not really AirPower – but the newest charging dock from Belkin Corporation (USA) Boostup can simultaneously charge up to three iPhone and Apple Watch. Another Type-A USB port can charge a third device – for example, the AirPod.
Boostup provides 7.5 W of Qi power for all iPhone models that are designed for wireless charging, including the latest XS Max. The current on the USB port and for Apple Watch is 1 A. The docking station itself is powered by a 45W unit.
Previously, Apple had already announced the development of its own wireless charger based on AirPower, designed for smartphones, headphones and smart watches. However, everything was limited to presentation, and the memory until it appeared on sale. One of the unsolved problems, according to the developers, is overheating of the device.
In addition to Boostup, Belkin has updated the PowerHouse docking station with a traditional Lightning port. Both models will be on sale in December and November, respectively, at a price of $ 160 and $ 100.js.src = “&version=v2.8”; 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
