For those of you who are on the fence about switching to the Essential Phone from Android founder Andy Rubin's startup, it's getting a $ 200 price cut.
“We want to make it easier for you to experience our products and our brand,” the company announced in a Saturday blog post. “So starting today we're offering Essential Phone for $ 499 on Essential.com.”
Early adopters do not have to be on the market because of the price cut because of the $ 200 credit that can be used on its website to the Essential 360 Camera or another Essential handset. The $ 199 Essential 360 Camera, which looks like a clip-on, fish-eye lens, and magnetic clips, photos and auto-stitches.
Meanwhile, the price cuts in after. The company emailed those who pre-ordered the handset for personal information to complete their order, but accidentally cc'd multiple customers on the message. As a result, about 70 users inadvertently emailed their personal information to other customers, thinking it was going only to Essential.
