Microsoft's line of Surface machines will be a little more affordable for students, with a 10% discount. — Microsoft

Students can now enjoy more affordable Microsoft students, with a discount of 10% given to those with valid student IDs.

The promotion runs until June 30.

Though similar to Apple's K12 program, Microsoft's promotion is slightly more strict and requires users to show a valid student ID and their personal address under the school's domain.

To apply for the promo, users will have to fill in with some personal information including their first name, last name, school ID, user's school email address, and choice of machine and preferred retailer.

The participating retailers include All IT Hypermarket, Harvey Norman, PC Image, SNS Netw ork, Thundermatch Technology, and Senheng Electric.

Certain models are the Surface Laptop Core i7 16GB / 1TB SSD, Surface Book 13.5 “Core i7 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD and Surface Book 15” Core i7 16GB RAM / 1TB SSD – are exclusively available at Harvey Norman. All of the machines run on Windows 10.
