One of the best features of Netflix is the ability to binge-watch a TV series without having to sit through pesky ads … or at least it was, until now.
Cord Cutters News reports that some people in the United Kingdom are complaining of having to sit through the “unskippable” ads in between the episode of shows that they watch. These ads, it says, help other original Netflix series available on the streaming platform.

Netflix supplied the website with a statement saying: “At Netflix, we conduct hundreds of tests every year so we can better understand what helps members.
“A couple of years ago, we introduced video previews to the TV experience, because we saw it
“Since then, we have been experimenting even more with video based on personalized recommendations for shows and movies on the service or coming shortly, and continue to learn from our members.”
“In this particular case, we are testing whether surfacing recommendations between episodes helps members discover stories they will enjoy faster.
