According to statistics, one of the most popular areas of modern tourism are shopping tours, which are usually accompanied by a large amount of luggage.
Several years ago, the Israeli company Fugu conducted a successful campaign at Kickstarter to raise funds for the production of the Influx suitcase, which increased in volume by an electric pump. And here the idea has been further developed, but without “swindling”.
As a result, a suitcase-transformer was created, the useful volume of which is adjusted as necessary. In the “initial mode”, Influx measures 50 x 40 x 22 cm, which corresponds to a volume of 41 liters that meets the requirements for hand luggage on passenger airliners. But removing the clamp at the bottom of the bag, it immediately turns into a capacious suitcase height of 85 cm and twice the volume – 93 liters. The total weight of the empty suitcase is 3.9 kg.
The case of the suitcase is made of a durable elastic fabric in several color variants. At its base are four wheels for transportation, which are removed if the suitcase needs to be placed in the luggage compartment above the seat in the cabin of the airliner. Influx also has a USB port with two charging cables to support mobile devices on the go and an integrated GPS module.
Fugu additionally developed a reduced version of Influx – a bag of Minilux. In addition to the “luggage” functions, it can be folded, turning into a table for a laptop with a cup holder, and thanks to special straps, Minilux becomes a backpack with the same devices for mobile devices (powerbank).
The company's representatives reported the successful completion of testing of both products and their readiness for serial production.js.src = “&version=v2.8”; 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
