Samsung, as expected, is not very good. The company published the results of the second quarter of this year, and they are disappointing.

So, in Q2 2018 consolidated operating profit was 14.8 trillion Korean won. Consolidated sales amounted to 58 trillion won. In comparison with Q2 2017, the last indicator fell by 0.7% (it was 60 trillion won). But we note that the profit increased by 11% (it was 14 trillion won), and this is good. However, for example, in the previous quarter the profit was 15.64 trillion won, and the income was 60.56 trillion won. Earlier almost every quarter was accompanied by crazy records. Now we are seeing a clear stagnation.

The reason for not the best results is the weak sales of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus flagships. It is expected that by the end of the year the company will be able to sell 31 million devices, despite the fact that Samsung sold 50 million Galaxy S7 in 2016.

For comparison, Samsung by January 1, 2013 sold 40 million Galaxy S3. Thus, you can see that the company is not very good. Although, perhaps, the emergence of new smartphones will correct the situation.
