Samsung Electronics is preparing for the release of the Galaxy Tab S4 tablet. This is indicated by the site of the consortium Wi-Fi Alliance, which certified the device for sale. The fact that this procedure has been carried out by the novelty means that its release will take place within the next few months.

Registration documents do not contain any data about tablet hardware, confirming only the software platform. Her role will be played by Android 8.0 Oreo. Obviously, the manufacturer decided to postpone the adaptation of the update with the number 8.1 until better times.

According to the GFXBench synthetic test, the Galaxy Tab S4 will be available in two standard sizes. The diagonal of the display of one of them will be 10.5 inches, which is 0.8 inches larger than that of the current generation model, and the ratio of its sides will be 16:10 versus 4: 3 for the Galaxy Tab S3.

The hardware base of the tablet , judging by the same test, will be last year's Snapdragon 835 processor, working in conjunction with 4 GB of RAM. Apparently, mindful of the low demand for a third-generation model, Samsung engineers decided to equip the novelty with “iron” easier, so as not to bully the price.
