The well-known manufacturer of golf accessories TaylorMade has developed an interactive stick “Spider”. With its help, players will be able to literally “lay out” every blow after the game is over. This, according to the developers, will enable them to improve the technique of the game.
Inside the handle of the interactive stick is a motion capture sensor that works with a smartphone application that analyzes each player's movement.
The Spider captures the impact force, the time of the forward stroke, the tempo, the speed and the angle of the stick. All this is taken into account in the application and can be used as an “archive” for compiling interactive graphs that track the player's progress over time.
The app also includes training modules and exercises designed to hone the game technique with built-in video recording function for viewing and later analysis.
Spider will go on sale on March 23 at a price of $ 399 complete with a wireless charging unit for a removable sensor and a storage bag.js.src = “&version=v2.8”; 'script', 'facebook-jssdk'));
