This year Google will introduce a branded smart watch running Wear OS, confident insider Evan Blass. The presentation of the wearable device will take place one day with Google Pixel of the third generation and updated smart headphones with simultaneous translation function Pixel Buds.
If the information published by Blass is correct, it will be the first smart clock of Google for all time. Despite years of experience developing the operating system for wearable devices, Mountain View never sought to produce its own solution for an unknown reason.
Pixel Watch is expected to be based on a new processor for worn-out Qualcomm devices and the operating system Wear OS, formerly known as Android Wear. Traditionally, the clock will be deeply integrated with the technologies of artificial intelligence and Google Assistant.
The event, during which Google will present the brand smart clock and flagship smartphones of the new generation, will not be held until September. Simultaneously with the release of new hardware, Google will roll out the final assembly of Android P, which is still in beta testing.
