A company has come up with a way to literally keep the memory of your loved ones alive after they've died, with a special urn that will sprout a tree when placed inside a corresponding incubator.

The Bios Urn and the white, minimalist Incube pot together cost about US $ 600 (RM2381), and the customer can specify what kind of tree should be grown. The Incident takes complete care of the sapling thanks to a WiFi sensor, needing only its water tank occasionally refilled.

Owners also get notifications on their mobile devices if the urn, which is connected to the Internet, needs a change in temperature humidity.

According to the Bios Incube team, which is funded by the product through a successful Kickstarter campaign, the idea behind the device was to change the way people are perceiving death as well as to provide an affordable, environmentally friendly alternative to cemeteries.
