The list of electronic devices that control the human condition has increased by another unit. This time, the relevant biometric sensors were integrated into the handles of the shopping carts of the Walmart distribution network (USA). As a result, we got another “smart” gadget that works in real time.

Such an unusual innovation, according to the company's management, is necessary to analyze information about customers. Special sensors record heart rhythm, body temperature, the magnitude of the applied pushing forces and the speed of movement of people.

The obtained information is immediately sent to the server, where using special software, after comparing with benchmarks, the degree of customer satisfaction with the services provided is determined.

If the readings are “bad,” or more simply, the customer is not satisfied with the service or quality of the goods, the system will send a supermarket employee to him to solve the problem.

Walmart has already received a patent for smart carts. The management of the trade network has no doubt that their implementation will help improve the quality of service.
